It's kind of a crushing blow to have to deal with a breakup with your ex-girlfriend. Sometimes it can come from what seems like nowhere and other times, you can look back and see the signs were there. Whatever your situation is, it does not make it any easier whether you saw it coming or you didn't. If you really want to be with your ex girlfriend and you feel like you have lost her, then you just want to get her back.

1. Give yourself the time to deal with it. Let's face it, it's tough. And you may need a few days to really get used to the fact that she is no longer your girlfriend. You need the time to deal with the breakup and be able to process everything that has just happened in your mind. If you don't allow this to happen, then you are not going to be in the proper frame of mind to get your ex-girlfriend back.

2. Try not to RUSH into getting her back. The mistakes that you can make when you try to rush into getting back with your ex-girlfriend may be exactly what makes her take a more permanent exit from YOU. She needs to have some time and so do you. You also have to work at making her want to be back in a relationship with you, and rarely does this happen overnight.

3. Don't make a fool of yourself by not planning what to do to get her back. In this kind of a situation, it's easy to make a fool of yourself in front of your ex-girlfriend. So many guys will even drop to their knees and start crying and begging to get her back. What you need to do is to come at her with a real plan to attract her back, otherwise, what is going to make her feel like she should be with YOU?
